How does a credit card thief benefit from using a high-limit stolen credit card?

Question by Lefty Zhukov: How does a credit card thief benefit from using a high-limit stolen credit card?
I’m not talking about small value – less than $ 100 – transactions.

What are the ways they make enoughmoney to make the crime pay?

Consider that if a credit card theif were to, for example, order a thousand dollar laptop over the internet, they would have to give an address for delivery (which they would not do).

Sure, they could buy an super-expensive airline ticket, but that requires actually using it.

What do credit card thieves who just want cash do?
Also, keep in mind, a Western Union or a bank is likely to have a security camera if the theif wre to try to use it to get cash.

If they’re doing that they probably have several false identities set up as well. Use a PO box under a false name. Find a sucker to receive the goods for you. Usually a desperate and naive woman.
