Oxford Finance Corporation , a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation, today announced that it closed a $ 20 million senior credit facility with Ligand Pharmaceuticals. The funds are being used to acquire CyDex Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a privately held specialty pharmaceutical company.
