I had breast surgery 8 days ago. All has gone well but I was very flat and opted for a small c, 330cc round textured implant. I had incision under the arm which has healed well but my breasts feel heavy and firm and like they are going to explode. When will all feel ok/

Do not worry – they will get better every week. First of all, they are always very high and very firm and feel very stretched. Some doctors recommend massage, but mine did not so I would leave them well alone. You must wear your support bandage or sports bra if you want a nice result. Even if you take it off for a little bit or an evening out, put it back on again after! They take at least 3 months to begin to look anywhere near natural. It really takes about 6 months for them to fully settle and to start feeling like a normal part of your body. I have had mine 5 years and the only time I know they are fake is because of how good they look!

I would say 2 weeks for less/no pain, 1 month for a good idea on the final result – but at least 3 until they ‘drop’ and start to feel normal.
