a blister sort of thing formed about a month after my dental implant?

Question by JUST ANOTHER USER: a blister sort of thing formed about a month after my dental implant?
any ideas? I got a dental implant about a month ago and I just noticed today that what would appear to be a blister has formed on my gum around the implant area. any idea why this happened? is it related to th implant or just a strange coincidence?

It sounds like a canker sore, sometimes people get them after dental procedures. Try rinsing with salt water, if it is bothersome pharmacies have stuff you can buy to numb them like orajel, ambesol, etc..

Most of the healing should be going on at the bone level by a month later. Any changes in the overlying tissue should be checked out by your provider soon so that proper actions if needed may be taken.
