Maybe and hour to an hour and a half. Make sure it won’t hurt. Just the other day I finally finished my root canal which didn’t hurt and I ate right after, with my dentist’s permission. You should call your dentist or a hotline.

I have dental implants. I was permitted to “eat” right away, but not really chew. I wasn’t permitted to chew anything firmer than pasta or baked fish for 5 months. For the first week or two until my stitches were out I drank mostly cream soups and protein drinks. I wasn’t on a liquid diet but a soft chew diet. They wanted no major pressure put on my implant as that can cause problems with them bonding to the bone.
